Electronic Ignition

The kits work between 6 and 16 volts range so anything underneath will not spark and anything above can cause failure to the kit.

If the customer has no spark:

 

1. Check wires to the negative side of the ignition coil... should only be the BLACK wire (negative earth) for testing... If any other wires identify them or measure for voltage..... small voltage is possible 2 maybe 3 volts but not ideal

2. Check if there is a spark when a plug is put in a lead and touched to the engine block etc... turn the vehicle over and see a spark or not. If you see a spark it could be timing or bad cap/leads etc
